  The wtbs is living in some kind of weird fantasy world they imagine that they are a "theatrical spectacle to the world" when nobody cares. They imagine themselves secret agent spys secret passwords be evasive they don't deserve the truth. Rules don't apply to us and when we point our magic wand you better tell us the truth because we hold the power of life and death. They live in the lunatic zone.

  The Crux of the Matter For Me

  it has been very interesting and beneficial reading the posts and comments of everyone on the board since i joined back in june of this year.

  the recent efforts of mankeli have made me consider exactly what it is i have issue with when it comes to the teachings of the wtbs and jehovah's witnesses.

  i have stated my background before: 38 years in the organization, 10 years at bethel in responsible positions, 15 years an elder with circuit and district responsibilities and parts on circuit and disctrict assemblies, a former member of the hospital liason committee and a presiding overseer for 5 years.

  Mr DK,

  I was not raised a jw but i've spent a fair amount of time in the org. You're right about the people many of them were very nice, kind, funny, looking for good things. I miss many of them and I enjoyed their company however truth is very important to me and i couldn' fake it. At a certain point in my desire to understand more and more I found more than I expected. I could not in good conscience continue to go to people's doors with something that was unraveling in my mind. It is my fervent wish that the wtbs will crumble and die because even though there are many sincere people it isn't the truth and it is causing a great deal of pain.

  It isn't easy to walk out but I cannot continue to empower them so you just have to take the hit and go on .

  I've seen so many things in 62 yrs I'll just list what stood out to me

  My mother and me watching Elvis Presley on the Ed Sullivan show and we watched american bandstand

  the cuban Missle crisis and the feelings of fear

  Kennedy shot but more intense to me was seeing Lee Harvey Oswald shot on tv right in front of me Those events were like 911 one surprise after another during Oswalds shooting one reporter said "holy mackeral" during 911 I heard "good lord" it was the same feeling

  Martin luther King and bobby Kennedy

  The emotional earthquake the vietnam war caused me the demonstrations where have all the flowers gone four dead in Ohio I was never the same

  That article pretty much eliminates almost everything so if your out in service and you happen to see a bird fly by or gaze at a flower on your way to a door that constitutes recreation/entertainment and you will be completely refreshed for "kingdom interests"

  The jw's I knew didn't follow that "counsel" Stuff like that causes people to lead conflicted lives. They go to the meeting and act like all that's true and than go home put on tv sports or go on cruises and play around which is fine but it's not mentally healthy to live like that.

  Our new fur baby comes to live with us tomorrow!

  we are adopting our fur baby tomorrow .

  he is a jrt crossed with a chihuahua, age is approximately around 7 and he is gorgeous!.

  he was rescued from a dog pound as he was due to be put to sleep, an angel saw him and took him home... he had been found tied to tree, left to die and had lost all of his fur... his fur is back now, just a patch missing off his tail... he had to have 13 teeth removed as they were rotten and causing him a lot of pain.
